# Dashport > Schema-driven web and mobile admin panels for existing HTTP/JSON APIs. AI agents can create a new account, relay email verification with the user, and build a project through MCP. ## Start here - [Developer and agent quickstart](https://dashport.org/developers): suitability, connection setup, signup, authorization, tool workflow and limitations. - [Expanded plain-text reference](https://dashport.org/llms-full.txt): account creation, verification, API mapping and tools. - [Machine-readable discovery](https://dashport.org/.well-known/dashport.json): endpoint URLs, authentication and constraints. - [Current MCP tool schemas](https://dashport.org/developers/mcp-tools.json): generated from the server definitions. - [Canonical panel schema](https://dashport.org/developers/panel.schema.json): declarative panel contract. ## MCP connections - New user: https://dashport.org/mcp/onboarding (Streamable HTTP). With user permission: register_account -> ask the user for the code emailed to the returned email -> verify_email -> create_project. Keep signup_token private and supply it on subsequent setup calls. Check email_sent before claiming delivery. Setup lasts one hour from registration, permits one project and draft editing, and cannot publish. - Existing user: https://dashport.org/mcp/dashport (Streamable HTTP). OAuth with PKCE or a project-scoped MCP bearer key. A platform login token is not an MCP key. ## Product fit and boundaries Use for API-backed CRUD, forms, lookups, operational dashboards and shared mobile administration. The client calls the customer API directly. The customer backend remains authoritative for authorization. Do not embed real credentials in schemas. No direct SQL connection, ETL engine or arbitrary remote code. Schema vocabulary does not guarantee installed client runtime support. Preview is a static schema summary, not a live renderer. Publish only with explicit user intent and suitable scope. All reference content is readable without JavaScript. Public documentation does not grant account access.
